Fundraisers

Unfortunately, Scouting is not free. Campouts, equipment and uniforms all cost money and the reality is that the cost can add up quickly. THE GOOD NEWS is the Scouts have many opportunties to raise money to help pay their way:

Troop Fundraisers: Troop fundraisers help to keep the Troop functioning by raising money needed to pay for tents, lanterns, cooking gas, etc.

Scout Fundraisers: Scout fundraisers allow Scouts to earn money that they can use as they need for Scouting: they can buy uniforms, books, or pay for camping as they need.

Troop Fundraiser - BBQ Pork Dinner

The annual BBQ pork dinner (troop fundraising event) is a little later this year, but still on! Our dinner will be held later this spring.

How can you help???

• We need families to dontate canned soft drinks to be sold at the dinner. Usually diet drinks are a favorite, but we will sell around 10 cases of soda. Bring your donation to a troop meeting.
• Pre-sell dinner tickets. Tickets will be distributed around two weeks before the dinner.
• The Saturday before the dinner we will need parents to help slice & sauce the meat after our cooks do thier job.
• On the day of the dinner: All families need to bring a desert, and all scouts are expected to help with the dinner service (Shift sign-ups will be on the bulletin board).
